Off to soundcheck in an hour or so... Wonder what passes for a drum kit in Corby?

Band name

A motion to change the band's name to 'Evil Dick & the Blood Farts' or simply 'Blood Farts' was briefly discussed at last night's rehearsal. Tim didn't like the name or understand why anyone would want to call their band 'Blood Farts' (but then he IS the youngest member of the band and wasn't born in the 1970s when punk was CREATED). It was therefore decided that the band would NOT change its name but that Evil would probably use it for some future solo project.

Meanwhile, here's the set list we're planning for Festival Moo-ah:

Dorian (Aye-o-wee…)

Duke Progression

Rebel Rouser

New Kitchen

We’re Back Again

The Monkey Progressions Prelude

Monkey Progressions

Dur-Dur-Dur (difficult section x2)

Alpho Bongo

Minging Progression

Rehearsing "Dur-dur-dur"

Here's Evil Dick and Little Pete practising a HORRIBLE tune called "Dur-dur-dur" named after the triplet Evil plays at the beginning. Enjoy it. You won't.

One of the many tunes we will play at Festival Moo-ah next March and possibly at other gigs if we ever secure a bassist.

This is a nice little improvisation - rather pleased with this one. They don't always come out quite as jolly but this one has some good bits.

“Rare Episodes” feat. Evil Dick

New recordings of compositions he didn’t get round to recording himself.

A CD conceived by Andrew Greenaway of The Idiot Bastard website and author of “Zappa the Hard Way” (the definitive account of Frank’s last tour). The idea was that some of the world’s foremost Zappa-influenced bands would record thirteen Zappa compositions that he either didn’t record, didn’t release or, if he did, he changed them quite a lot first.
